Acrylic Pouring with Diana Savova
Monday 13 December 10.30 - 1.30pm

- Ashley House, 1F Ashley Terrace, Edinburgh, EH11 1RF
Diana is the latest tutor to offer her creative skills at Birchwood - born in the mountain town of Chepelare, Bulgaria, she has lived and worked in Edinburgh as freelance artist since 2011. Diana holds a MA Degree in Fine Art Conservation and Restoration from the National Academy of Art and Design, Sofia. Join her for an introduction to acrylic pouring. The technique and effects found in acrylic pouring are unlike anything else. The mix of paint and medium provide a means of manipulating the colours, allowing you to explore and improvise. The results are always unique and can't be repeated again. The colours mixed with the medium are wet for 24 hours or more, but in the first hour manipulation of the wet surface gives opportunities for achieving not only abstract pieces but the chance to create flowers, sea creatures or just beautiful marble effect paintings. You will have the opportunity to create two canvases - perfect Christmas presents! All materials and refreshments will be provided.
We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered a refund or the choice of transferring your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop with less than 2 weeks notice but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
