Painterly Printmaking from the Landscape

4 day course 17 June - 20 June with Morven Ferguson

Class Details

An introduction to three simple yet effective printmaking techniques ; Mono-printing, foam board printing and collagraph. Exploring the painterly unique qualities of mono-printing. As well as relief printing with foam board and collagraph to create unique textural prints inspired by the landscape. Taking inspiration from both photos and drawings of the landscape and nature. The freedom to develop your own style will be encouraged by referring to photographs and or sketches, we will gather inspiration outside the studio to develop our imagery into prints. By the end of the workshop you will have made a series of A4 prints using these three printmaking methods. This workshop is open to anyone and there’s no prior experience of printmaking needed as you will be guided through each process. If you are interested in trying both simple and fun methods of printing then this is for you! All materials and refreshments are included in the course fee.

Cancellation Policy

We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
