Portrait Drawing in Pencil & Conte

Class Details

Join artist and tutor Helen Jackson for a relaxing and informative one day workshop working directly from the model in the studio. Pencil drawings are the perfect way to learn how to draw the head. You will be discovering how to get the proportions, orientation and structure of the head right as well as the positioning of the features. Using conte pencils offers you the opportunity of adding depth and richness to your portrait. All materials are supplied (or feel free to bring your own) and the class is kept small to ensure everyone gets some individual attention. Morning and afternoon refreshments are provided and you are welcome to bring in a packed lunch to eat in the studio. There is also a cafe next door for sit in and takeaway. This session is suited to all levels, over 16s only.

Cancellation Policy

We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
