Class Details
Calling all artists to explore a variety of natural materials and create wonderful 3D objects. Join artist/tutor Marcela to take a step into the wonderful world of 3D and texture. Open to all, this course is perfect for those with little or no experience, or those who want to take their sculpting skills in a new direction. Starting with clay modelling, Marcela will encourage you to explore various techniques and mediums including weaving fibres, modelling wire, carving wood, reconstructing found objects and creating land based art before embarking on your own project towards the end of the term. Week 1 – Clay Modelling Week 2 & 3– Fibres and Wire Weaving Week 4 – Found Materials Construction Week 5 – Wood Carving Week 6 – Land Based Art - field trip Weeks 7 & 8– Final Project All materials and refreshments are included in the course fee.

Cancellation Policy
We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s). We reserve the right to substitute the advertised tutor with someone of equal skill/expertise.
