Our botanically obsessed Suzanne Gibson, who moved to the Cairngorm National Park in the summer, is heading back to Birchwood for a winter drawing/painting workshop. She can’t wait to see your lovely faces! Suzanne lives in the woods now so it’s no surprise she’ll be bringing you all the visual delights of native Caledonian forest in winter. There will be reference photos galore; featuring silver birch, Scots Pine, birds & wildlife she’s seen, and mushrooms aplenty (those will sneak in from Autumn time). She’ll bring a fascinating collection of fallen branches, pine cones, fallen bird nests, various lichens and any other natural gems the forest throws at her. A workshop ideal for those who have attended Suzanne’s classes in the past, or, for new-comers who have an interest in nature. A lovely opportunity to get creative with whatever medium we can lay our hands on…bring your ideas for any image you’d like to create, up to A3 size. Don’t worry, Suzanne can provide ideas if you don’t have one. 5+ hours of Winter Woodland inspired creating - bliss!
