Autumn Term - Anyone Can Draw
Starts Thursday 22 August, 6.30 - 9pm
Class Details
Our Anyone Can Draw classes are designed to encourage people who haven’t picked up a pencil or brush to draw or paint since their school days and show them that art is something we can all do and enjoy. We are here to convince even the non-believer - the ardent "I can't draw"ers that even they have the ability to master basic techniques and pick up enough tips to create an original piece they are proud of. Expect to explore different ways of mark making in pencil, ink, pastel and charcoal, every week learning where your strengths and preferences lie. From holding your pencil to copying Masters, expect to begin to describe what you see and feel with like minded students in our relaxed and encouraging studio. Gain confidence, enjoy proving yourself wrong and start to experience all the benefits drawing can bring. "I think it is the perfect class for either complete beginners or those who enjoy art but haven't done anything for a while". "I found I can draw and improve. I love the classes and now happily spend hours practicing. It's been and is such a pleasure". Suggested course progression - approximately 4 terms before moving on to Anyone Can Draw 2 or a painting or illustration class, or just drop in and out and come for the fun of it. All materials and refreshments are included in the course fee.
Cancellation Policy
We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
