Drawing & Painting for Teens Winter Term

Class Details

An exciting 7 week course designed for teens aged 13+ who would like to learn and practise basic painting skills using acrylic paints. This is an opportunity to investigate the power of colour in a simple, constructive way. By using six basic colours plus black and white we will be looking at how to mix colours effectively making colour charts followed by an exploration of both warm and cool palettes: harmonious colours, complimentary colours and neutral colours This is also a unique opportunity for those teens studying National 5, GCSE or Higher Art to benefit from extra tuition. This course is intended to enhance the student’s abilities and give them the confidence to create satisfying paintings as they explore their creative potential All materials are supplied along with a generous selection of snacks!

Cancellation Policy

We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
