A 2-Day Summer Workshop, Painting Still-Life with Suzanne Kemplay
Class Details
Over the course of 2 days students will learn how to confidently paint a floral still life using Acrylic paints. Students will be taught about colour theory, tonal values, mixing techniques and how brush strokes can be applied in various ways. The course is designed to encourage and give confidence to beginners while also helping those that want to develop their painting skills. In her role as a tutor Suzanne aims to instill the enthusiasm and excitement she gets from painting to her students. The focus will be on painting flowers and developing a finished still life by the end of the 2 days. Tutor led demonstrations will help students expand their observational skills and throughout the 2 days you will be introduced to several artists work to help gain an understanding of how to create great paintings. This course can be done by beginners or by people wanting to refresh or grow their skills.

We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in.
