Class Details
Looking to sharpen up your skills or could it be you have always fancied figure drawing but didn’t know quite where to start? Fall into the safe hands and eagle eyes of well-known artist and tutor Suzanne Kemplay for a half day Masterclass. This month we will be exploring figure drawing with charcoal, with a focus on the weight, shape and form of the figure. Charcoal can be rubbed, smudged, formed and erased. Abandoning some of the control we have with a pencil, charcoal has long been used for creating a more solid form within the figure. Expect a range of shorter poses and longer poses and you can be guaranteed to have black fingers by the end of the day. Join us for the morning or afternoon only or treat yourself to a whole day. Tutored morning session 10 - 12.45pm £50, model only afternoon 1.30 - 3.30pm £25, whole day £70. All materials are supplied (feel free to bring your own) and the masterclass is kept small to ensure everyone gets some individual attention. This session is suited to all levels, over 18s only. Refreshments included, choose to bring your lunch or visit the lovely cafe next door.

Cancellation Policy
We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
