Life Drawing - with Watercolour

Class Details

Looking to sharpen up your skills or could it be you have always fancied figure drawing but didn’t know quite where to start? Fall into the safe hands and eagle eyes of well-known artist and tutor Suzanne Kemplay for a morning Masterclass. Our June life class will focus on watercolour and line. The class will involve a combination of quick watercolour washes and line drawing. This class is not about learning watercolour technique, we are simply using the watercolour to model the figure using tone then using pencils to create contour. There will be a combination of quick poses and a series of longer poses. In the afternoon there is the chance to practice what you have learnt in the morning or to develop your own technique and style. The session is untutored but either Suzanne or Sam will be drawing along with you, instructing the model in line with your requests and is available should you have any questions. All materials are supplied (or feel free to bring your own) and the tutored morning class is kept small to ensure everyone gets some individual attention. Join us for the morning or afternoon only or treat yourself to a whole day. This session is most suited to all levels, over 18s only. Tutored morning session 10 - 12.45pm £45, model only afternoon 1.30 -3.30pm £20, whole day £60. Cancellation Policy

We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
