Summer Art Club for 8-15s, 15 - 18 July

Class Details

Especially for fans of the feathered and furred. Learn to draw and paint your favourite animals and birds with ease. Experiment drawing from photographs, memory, imagination and life at Edinburgh Zoo. Find out how the masters did it and try out their techniques while designing your own beastie filled 3D wildlife park. New and different age specific activities to suit all. Groups will be split into High School and primary with those in 1st and 2nd year having a choice of studio. Classes start at 10am until 3.30pm with an hour for lunch. All materials are included as well as snacks and drinks and admission to Edinburgh Zoo. Students should bring a packed lunch which (weather permitting) can be taken in Harrison Park/the Zoo. Please note that high school pupils are not routinely supervised at lunchtime, please let us know if you would prefer that wasn't the case.

Cancellation Policy

We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
