Enjoy a morning of calm, colour and creativity Celebrate the coming summer with a workshop dedicated to mindful art making. Enjoy a peaceful morning with Raphie, learning the art of mandalas through a geometric, symmetrical design and dotting in a calm, supportive environment. The workshop focuses on colour and creativity where the most important aspect is simply showing up and giving yourself time to unwind during this busy period. After creating your very own mandala on paper, choose from a range of stones, tools, stencils, colours and techniques to create your own unique mandala stone to take home and enjoy through the summer months (and use it as a reminder of better days during the winter). There is no right or wrong way to make a mandala; this workshop is about forgetting the outside world for a few hours. We’ll start with a short introduction to mandalas, tools, stencils and colour choices, followed by a demonstration of basic shapes, drawing and dotting techniques. You’ll then have plenty of time to experiment freely, explore different patterns and develop your own style, with individual tips and support offered throughout. No experience is required; all levels are welcome.
