Summer Term - Anyone Can Paint 2

Class Details

Improve your technique and develop your style. This class is for those that have already spent time in Anyone Can Paint or are new to Birchwood but with some experience of painting in acrylics. Join experienced artist and tutor Suzanne Kemplay and take your paintings to the next level. In this 8 week course expect to explore different ways of picture making from gathering ideas, composition, colour and application. Predominantly you will be working in acrylics but Suzanne will introduce mixed media encouraging students to explore how we can mix paints with pencils, pastels, oil pastels, inks & collage. Find your style and where your talents lie by using different materials and a variety of themes from landscape to still life. It’s the ideal opportunity to observe, capture and explore. There will be some two week projects and students will produce a range of work that explores colour, texture and pattern. All materials and refreshments are included in the course price. If you would like to try a taster class before committing to a whole course please just get in touch. If the class isn't full you can also come along on a "pay as you go basis" for £25/class.

Cancellation Policy

We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
