This is the follow on to our introductory course finishing in March. An immersive art course delving into the wonderful world of all things botanical. Learn the foundations of form, colour, contrast and texture by studying and illustrating Scottish wild and garden flowers through the seasons. Find your floral drawing style with in-depth, informative tuition from tutor Suzanne Gibson. From Tufted Vetch to Ragwort and Marsh Orchid and many species in between you’ll lose yourself in the drawing as well as learn more about our native plant life. Suzanne is also a house plant enthusiast. These can be fun to draw, so one of the sessions will be devoted to illustrating these from life or photograph, whatever your preference. A basic level of drawing skill to intermediate level is ideal for this course although not essential. Single classes can be done on a Pay As You Go basis and are £24/class All materials and refreshments are provided.
We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
