Class Details

Developing Painting - Landscapes An exciting ten week course giving students the catalyst to pursue their passion for drawing and painting. This term we will be visiting a series of different venues where students can experience being immersed in a ‘landscape’ to discover what it is that fascinates them in the moment. Being curious is the golden key to discovering where your own particular interests are to be found and what inspires you to create from that initial impulse or idea. Sketching outdoors offers a wonderful opportunity to practise one’s own personal style of mark making that can most effectively be transformed into an artwork in acrylics or mixed media. The format for the term is: one week meeting at a particular venue to sketch and the following week in the studio developing a painting. Weekly venues will be emailed out prior to the beginning of term. The block lasts for 10 weeks from 25 April - 27 June.

Cancellation Policy

We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
