Unlock Your Creative Potential Through Illustration Illustration is more than just drawing - it’s a powerful way to tell stories, express ideas, and bring imagination to life. Whether it’s crafting a whimsical children’s book, designing an eye-catching album cover, or bringing a poem to visual life, illustration offers endless possibilities. Over these ten weeks we will dive into a variety of techniques to spark your creativity and sharpen your skills. Using the fundamentals of composition and colour theory, exploring different media like ink, watercolour and acrylics you will discover how to translate emotions and narratives into compelling visuals. You’ll also develop your own unique style while further mastering techniques like shading, perspective, and texture. The projects are aimed to both challenge and inspire you, helping to build confidence and the opportunity to turn your ideas into diverse, impactful illustrations that will capture the viewers attention, inspire thought, and resonate with an audience. The block lasts for 10 weeks from 23 April until 25 June and this class is aimed at those with extensive experience of drawing and painting. Materials are not supplied for this class.
