Class Details

Interested in art but not sure where to start? An absolute beginner who hasn't picked up a paintbrush or pencil since schooldays? This is the course for you. Following on from our Introduction to Art course, this 7 week course will offer customers an opportunity to get to grips with the basics of drawing and painting with a smattering of mixed media and collage thrown in. If you are looking to learn some skills, build confidence or refresh you practice this course offers the perfect setting to get started, grow and flourish. We will explore different ways of drawing & painting broken down into processes and exercises. Tutor led demonstrations will help students expand their observational skills and improve their drawing & painting. Join experienced tutor and artist Suzanne Kemplay for a stress free and fun introduction to drawing and painting. All materials and refreshments are included in the course fee. Cancellation Policy

We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
