Come along and have fun being introduced to the wonders of ink drawing. We will use sticks, dip pens and brushes to make expressive drawings of flowers, plants and natural objects. When the ink is dry, we will add watercolour to introduce detail and colour to some of the drawings. We will also experiment with ink mono-printing techniques, using rollers, plates and barens to create both “light field” and “dark field” prints. You will go home with lots of ideas, several drawings & prints (and probably inky fingers!). No experience necessary - Beginners welcome! - Full instruction and all materials provided. Friendly, creative atmosphere. Tea/coffee and biscuits included and maybe even a glass of something fizzy towards the end of the day.
We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
