Working with Ink Workshop
Saturday 13th June from 1.30pm - 4.30pm with Sheila Chapman
Class Details
Come along and have fun getting to grips with the wonders of ink drawing & painting! We will first experiment with ink mark making and getting to grips with different tools for working with this exciting medium, such as sticks, dip pens, droppers and brushes. Then we will create some detailed drawings of natural objects such as plants, fruits and seashells. When the ink is dry, we will add watercolour to the drawings using the ”ink & wash” technique. After lunch we will explore painting with ink and working with different tones of ink and maybe some charcoal drawing to create an expressive ink landscape of an Edinburgh scene (working from photos). No experience necessary - beginners welcome! Full instruction and all materials provided. Friendly, creative atmosphere. Tea/coffee and biscuits included. All materials provided.

Cancellation Policy
We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
